🌟Announcing Our New Resources, Case Study, and Website Refresh🌟
If you work in the world of nonprofits, philanthropy, community engagement, or values-driven leadership, you know how hard it can be to build trust across deep differences. At Cohesion Strategy, helping leaders navigate those moments of tension and possibility is at the heart of our work — and today, we’re thrilled to share a major update that supports exactly that mission.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve been hard at work redesigning our website to better serve the leaders, funders, and organizations we partner with. What started as a small refresh quickly became something much more exciting: a fully updated Resources hub, new practical tools, clearer navigation, and a more intuitive way to access everything from case studies to primers to publications. Our goal was simple — to make it easier for busy leaders to find what they need, when they need it, and to present our work in a way that reflects the depth, clarity, and conviction behind it.
Here’s what’s new.
New Case Study: When Inclusion Meets Conviction
We are publishing a new case study series based on the same methodology we use in our virtual workshops and our in-person retreats. These studies will explore what nonprofit and philanthropic leaders face when their values — inclusion, accountability, mission alignment, and community trust — collide under real-world pressure.
In this first installment, we follow a foundation whose bridge-building grant sparks public controversy. What happens next raises essential questions:
How do leaders respond when their values come into tension?
How do they maintain trust, integrity, and inclusion when external pressure mounts?
What does leadership with conviction actually look like?

📘 New Free Primers for Nonprofit Leaders
We’ve also translated some of Allison Ralph’s peer-reviewed research into a set of practical, accessible primers — free for anyone working to build bridges across difference.
Each primer is a short, actionable guide, covering:
Advocacy & Bridging
Shifting Constellations (for coalition builders)
Dual Identity Contact
Shattering Binaries
Tolerating Disagreement
They’re designed with busy leaders in mind: clear, concise, grounded in research, and immediately useful.

Guides for organizations navigating complex social landscapes
If you’re exploring long-term approaches to religious literacy, social cohesion, bridging strategies, or values-based leadership, this section is for you.
